Когда покидает вдохновение...

There are days when we feel totally uninspired. Either it’s the fault of spring rains and puddles under your feet, or it’s because your kid is sick (yet again). Or maybe it’s none of that. Maybe it’s just your mundane routine that got you bored. You start your creative work, and you feel like you’ll definitely going to end up with nothing decent again.

First of all you get this. Nothing special. Just a flower. Just a macro. Just a grey bokeh. Boooring.

Then you get this, and you understand that this might become the best picture of the day. And it’s just a tiny bit better than the previous one.

Then you get this. O’k, it’s more like a failure than a picture. But still you like it more than the flower.

Then you get this (and this perfectly explains why your pictures lack a colour vibrancy today). But raindrops still are quite nice.

Then you try to save the day and take a picture of your kid, because pictures of cute babies always “work”. Correction, the pictures of the cooperative babies.

Then you still don’t give up, grab your rainbow umbrella and get outside. If the weather is a bit desaturated, you can always bring with you your own colour.

With the help of the umbrella that the kid’s stroller successfully holds under your head, you take this picture. And… you finally like it!

Then the rain stops and the day rewards you with a gorgeous sunset. And moreover, you find some very cute raindrops on a pussy-willow.

It gets even better…

And…

Suddenly the puddles doesn’t seem so boring and ordinary.

And that’s not a wonder as those reflect the amazing sky after the rainy day.

I think my inspiration is back. What about yours?
